Profile
By profession, I am a GPU Engineering Program Manager who manages the program delivery of graphics across Media, 3D Graphics, and Display at Intel. One of the most compelling aspects of working in graphics technology is pioneering the delivery of a better, more immersive visual experience.
I started out in the Digital Home Group working on codec hardware decoder design. In the Intel Architecture Hard IP Group, I worked to deliver the HEVC Decode and other the firmware that is now in the Microsoft Surface 3 tablet. Following this, as a Graphics Developer, I implemented features across the Windows, Android, Linux, and Mac the GPU driver spanning platforms generations.
Prior to Intel, I had cofounded HeatSync Labs where I led the strategy and branding for Arizona’s first hackerspace, a collaboration space for makers, hackers, and artists looking to work on their vision. During my time there, I helped bring together the self-sufficient community, create the nonprofit service model, and realize the 501c3 nonprofit status with which it is recognized today.
